Bio

P.J. Clevenger, 38, started playing drums at the age of 10 and formed his first band at the age of 16. In 1995, P.J. auditioned for Ozzy Osbourne. In 1998, P.J.'s progressive metal band Tribal Rift, was accepted to fill the opening slot for Alice Cooper's Japanese/European tour but due to number of significant problems with Tribal Rift's manager and his inevitable termination, Tribal Rift's participation in the tour was cancelled.
In late 1998, P.J. joined San Diego metal band Voodoo Temple. Voodoo Temple opened for numerous national acts including Behemoth, Nile, Crash Palace, Budgie, Fozzy, Nuclear Assault, Overkill, Warrant, Bang Tango, Impotent Sea Snakes, Green Jelly, Puya, Stet Howland, and Randy Castillo.
PJ departed Voodoo Temple in Aug 2004, after a brief stint with Phoenix based Auralast, PJ joined Phoenix based harcore metal band 12 Ton Sledge but left after 6 months due to musical differences. PJ is currently available for sesion work, drum tech work, or the right band looking for a drummer.
